What the studio brings
Not cash. The company on the loop.
We form it on the closed loop: first code, first sale, compliance, the runtime underneath. A 70X7 company exists because we built it on that platform.
Outside money comes in at the company, from people who are backing that company. There is no vehicle here to buy a piece of the studio.
How backing works
Three things stay true for every company.
Each company raises for itself.
Money goes into the company you are backing, from the beginning. Not into a studio fund.
Every offering carries its own documents.
Terms, risks and the structure of that company are set out in its own materials. Read them in full before you commit.
The structure is shown, not summarised.
Companies are structured differently from each other, so we do not quote one figure as the studio deal. A serious counterparty sees the actual documents.
The risk

Private product investments are speculative. Investors may lose some or all of their investment. No raise guarantees product-market fit, profitability, future financing, an exit, distributions, dividends, repayment, or target returns.
Investments may be highly illiquid. There may be no public market, secondary market, redemption right, transfer right, or predictable exit. Investors should be prepared to hold indefinitely.
What we don't do
No hype. No promises. No invented numbers.
We only build for companies we started.
No consulting engagements, no advisory retainers, no build-for-hire. Everything the studio builds, it builds for a company it formed on the loop.
We don't promise returns.
Backing a young company is a risk. We say so plainly, and every offering says so in its disclosures.
We don't publish numbers we can't stand behind.
Everything measured says how it was measured. Everything that is a target says it is a target. Where we don't know yet, it says so.
